The team leader outlined the work they were going to do before they started. John Prunier and Northeast Home & Energy delivered an exceptional roofing experience for my husband and me. We bought a home whose roof was starting to need attention so we called NEH&E to start the research process. From start to finish their team was informative, kind and sensitive to our budget.
We actually had fun looking at all the roofing choices for color and quality. Once we made our decisions the process moved very quickly. When John said that it could be done in under two days he wasn’t kidding!! They were basically done stripping the old roof and putting the new one on in the same day. The second day was just making sure that the cleanup was perfect. Crazy fast!!!

On day one they put up a huge barrier net to keep all roof debris off our house. Ground helpers used wheel barrels to dispose of all roof material into a dumpster which was delivered the previous day. They left the yard and driveway neat and clean including picking up old nails. We’re So impressed with the job they did!
Richard was in touch throughout the entire process and oversaw the job from start to finish. We couldn’t be more pleased! Everyone, and I mean everyone, couldn’t have been any nicer!

We purchased an older home which needed lots of care. I searched the BBB for 5 star reviews and found Northeast Home & Energy highly rated in capabilities that I needed which were roofing, siding, and insulation. I called for a quote and they promptly sent Mike G to meet with me at my house to go over details of what was needed. I also worked with multiple other companies at the same time, none of which would do all the work needed, and received multiple quotes for comparison. I found Northeast to be competitively priced and selected them to replace my roof, my siding, and to upgrade my attic and overall insulation. Their crews were very professional and worked hard to complete the jobs on time and clean up each day. Since my wife and I were at work an unable to be on hand during the work, we asked for a few adjustments (e.g., move doorbell location) after they were done and Northeast had no problem coming back to do several small things (not rework but changes) until we were happy. As an example, we recently installed a new back door which required us to reframe the doorway and cut through the aluminum wrapped around the door casing. I asked Haley from Northeast to please send someone to replace the damaged aluminum. I left for work one morning and came back to see that it had been completely redone. It was beautiful. This was our first home so we had to learn a few things along the way. Mike G and Haley partnered with us and worked with the crews to ensure that we were fully satisfied with the results. My wife and I could not be more pleased with our choice to go with Northeast for our new roof, siding, and insulation. I recommend them highly.

Very positive experience. Work was done fast and efficiently for a large old house, and I have even gotten compliments on the attic by teams here for other projects not related to insulation work.

Bill was the head contractor on my project and he was knowledgeable about the work to be done, courteous, respectful and seemed to enjoy what he did and took the time to teach the newer members on his crew. I felt safe having 2 grown men in my house while I was alone. Listening to Bill and his crew banter back and forth while working also made me chuckle. Prior to doing any work Bill kept me well informed of what was happening and potential risks. The old thin walls were monitored for bulging/ bucking while being filled with insulation. I was asked about what colors for door kits I preferred and alerted that it wouldn't match existing frame and pieces of frame needed to be removed - with consent. And a few other things that were specific to my project. NE Home & Energy provided insulation and a new roof at my 110 year old house in the last half on 2020. I am a commercial construction project manager and the work they performed was very very good in quality, workmanship and professionalism and met all my expectations. But what was even better than the installation and worthy of a 5 Star Rating, was that last month, 3 years after the initial installation, we noticed a small drip in a ceiling directly below the new roof, and when I contacted NE Home & Energy about the drip, they didn't argue or question or make excuses but they came over to inspect the roof with me and made the warranty repairs in less than an hour. I am not use to great service like that in the construction and remodel industry (or any industry or service provider for that matter) and I wanted to share that experience for others.

They even found a few things off (my house was flipped) that they fixed for me while they were in the attic. At the end of their time in my home, they asked me to look at the work they did. And while I wasn’t looking, my dog ran out of my house- and they immediately ran out of the house got him to come back in safely.

The crew did the job in one day. The roof looks so great. I did my research on the shingle and they use 50 year shingles which is unusual for Nantucket. My last roof lasted only 14 years and it is good to know that I won’t have to worry about the roof for years.
The only downside was that there were a lot roofing nails around the house which is hell on car tires. But to my surprise they had a roller magnet that picked up all (hopefully) of the nails.
All around good experience. Great product, great warranty, great service, and best of all GREAT price. I highly recommend them.

Richard gave me a quote that was reasonable, and I had no idea that new roofs can now last 50 years, and that the warranty is transferable to the new owner should you sell the home. BONUS!! Northeastern were incredible! They installed my new roof in one day! They organized everything and made sure all my fencing and plants were fully protected while removing the old roof. I have a dog so they also made sure there were no nails left behind with a special machine that picks up nails. My deck replacement was a difficult job requiring customization and creativity. Tom is an amazing professional capable of addressing even the most difficult challenges. The deck sits on top of my garage so a rubber roof is required underneath the deck. Previous leak issues were addressed and they no longer exist! Buzz quoted aggressively and held to his quote.
