My entire experience with NorthEast Home and Energy from start to finish, was excellent. Michael the project manager helped me through the process and was always available to answer any questions. We purchased an older home which needed lots of care. I searched the BBB for 5 star reviews and found Northeast Home & Energy highly rated in capabilities that I needed which were roofing, siding, and insulation. I called for a quote and they promptly sent Mike G to meet with me at my house to go over details of what was needed. I also worked with multiple other companies at the same time, none of which would do all the work needed, and received multiple quotes for comparison. I found Northeast to be competitively priced and selected them to replace my roof, my siding, and to upgrade my attic and overall insulation. Their crews were very professional and worked hard to complete the jobs on time and clean up each day. Since my wife and I were at work an unable to be on hand during the work, we asked for a few adjustments (e.g., move doorbell location) after they were done and Northeast had no problem coming back to do several small things (not rework but changes) until we were happy. As an example, we recently installed a new back door which required us to reframe the doorway and cut through the aluminum wrapped around the door casing. I asked Haley from Northeast to please send someone to replace the damaged aluminum. I left for work one morning and came back to see that it had been completely redone. It was beautiful. This was our first home so we had to learn a few things along the way. Mike G and Haley partnered with us and worked with the crews to ensure that we were fully satisfied with the results. My wife and I could not be more pleased with our choice to go with Northeast for our new roof, siding, and insulation. I recommend them highly.

Very positive experience. Work was done fast and efficiently for a large old house, and I have even gotten compliments on the attic by teams here for other projects not related to insulation work.I really enjoyed that I could schedule with Richard via texting rather than a phone call. I work non-traditional hours and it was a little thing that made my experience much more enjoyable. They were flexible with scheduling and worked to find a day that was best without me having to take PTO.Bill was the head contractor on my project and he was knowledgeable about the work to be done, courteous, respectful and seemed to enjoy what he did and took the time to teach the newer members on his crew. I felt safe having 2 grown men in my house while I was alone. Listening to Bill and his crew banter back and forth while working also made me chuckle. Prior to doing any work Bill kept me well informed of what was happening and potential risks. The old thin walls were monitored for bulging/ bucking while being filled with insulation. I was asked about what colors for door kits I preferred and alerted that it wouldn't match existing frame and pieces of frame needed to be removed - with consent. And a few other things that were specific to my project. My house was kept clean and tidy - rugs protected by drop cloths, extreme caution around delicate wallpaper, and the whole area vacuumed up at the end of the project. Bill and his crew also made sure that future workers would be aware of the exposed beams under the insulation with well made signage and posts. Very impressed and have already recommended to my friends.

The Northeast crew did a nice job replacing my vents that exit thru the vinyl siding. They also fixed the sloppy work done by the original builder. I’m very happy with the results.

The installation crew was extremely professional, on time, clean and the final job looks fantastic.Later we had Northeast do our insulation work through the Masssave program. Again, great to work with. They walked us through the process, were professional, and always cleaned up after the work.Update, we just had new basement windows installed by Northeast. They look fantastic, and the basement is warmer. Can't say enough about Northeast.

Casement Windows replaced — job well done! Matt arrived on time and worked quickly. He cleaned up his work area and removed all packaging and debris when he finished. Windows look great. This is my fourth project with Northeast Home. I’ve been a satisfied customer each time.

From start to finish, the crew that worked on our home were very communicative, thoughtful, timely, professional and knowledgeable.They were able to get us an appointment earlier than anticipated- which we appreciated. The crew showed up on time, covered all areas with tarps, cleaned up after themselves and were very respectful of our home. The manager was able to do multiple tests (including carbon monoxide texting) on our home that made me feel even safer than when they walked in here. They even found a few things off (my house was flipped) that they fixed for me while they were in the attic. They told me about it, educated me about the problem and asked me if they could fix it (and how they were going to fix it).At the end of their time in my home, they asked me to look at the work they did. And while I wasn’t looking, my dog ran out of my house- and they immediately ran out of the house got him to come back in safely.My house is now warmer because of all the work they did and I know that they improved my house more than I could have asked for.

Great and honest people from the salesman Mike to the installers Tom and Brad, if you want professional people who know what they are doing these are the people. Installers Tom and Brad did an amazing job, left the place "spotless ". They installed 27 windows in a 1845 Farmhouse in 2 days. I would highly recommend them. None better.

I had Northeast Home out to my house to do insolation for a project and it turned out amazing. Randy and his time were on time, respectful and professional, I work from home while they were head and considerate of that. I would use northeast home again for any of my upcoming projects.

They did a great job updating my older home with insulation up to code. They also did air sealing which makes a ton of difference. I highly recommend this company.

I called because there was a small leak in my roof, and although I'm really handy, I don't know the first thing about roofing. Kyle came by right on time, and in about 5 minutes showed me exactly what the issue was. Seeing that it was small, he essentially told me I could handle it myself and save myself money. He even gave me a tube of caulk and wouldn't take money for it. He could have easily charged me a few hundred dollars to do it and I would not have questioned it.This speaks to a level of integrity that is priceless. While it seems a small thing, it shows that Kyle, and therefore this company, does things the right away, or at least in a way that resonates with me. Kyle also told me that the roof, while in good shape, will probably need to be replaced in the next two or three years. When that comes, I know who we will be calling.

This crew was top notch. Everything was explained to me thoroughly and clearly beforehand. It was a super tough job in an extremely tight attic space but these guys went all out and made it happen. Several other crews from different companies actually turned the job down, but Bill and Jonathan and Tim and Pedro and everyone else who worked on this project were just amazing. 5/5 stars, would definitely trust them with any aspect of insulation needs again. I highly recommend.

I had Northeast energy come thru the MassSave program. They added insulation to different areas of our roof lines and sealed piping from our air conditioning system. The team was very professional. They explained their plans and shared pictures before and after their work. They were a pleasure to work with.

When gathering quotes for my roof replacement job, Kyle from Northeast was the only person who actually got on the roof to inspect the old roof's condition. It makes a lot of sense to have the person providing the quote get hands-on, I think.After deciding to go with them, I felt like the price was fair, they were flexible and provided multiple options in the contract, the work was completed in one day, and the crew and office personnel were very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend Northeast H&E to others.

The crew did the job in one day. The roof looks so great. I did my research on the shingle and they use 50 year shingles which is unusual for Nantucket. My last roof lasted only 14 years and it is good to know that I won’t have to worry about the roof for years.The only downside was that there were a lot roofing nails around the house which is hell on car tires. But to my surprise they had a roller magnet that picked up all (hopefully) of the nails.All around good experience. Great product, great warranty, great service, and best of all GREAT price. I highly recommend them.

I chose Northeast Home & Energy because when I checked their website, their reviews were top notch and I liked the fact that it was a family run business for over 40 years, having come from a similar background. Richard gave me a quote that was reasonable, and I had no idea that new roofs can now last 50 years, and that the warranty is transferable to the new owner should you sell the home. BONUS!! Northeastern were incredible! They installed my new roof in one day! They organized everything and made sure all my fencing and plants were fully protected while removing the old roof. I have a dog so they also made sure there were no nails left behind with a special machine that picks up nails. Not only that but our new roof has a lifetime warranty which reduced my home owners insurance. I can’t say enough good about our experience with Northeastern Home & Energy! Thank you so much.

My deck replacement was a difficult job requiring customization and creativity. Tom is an amazing professional capable of addressing even the most difficult challenges. The deck sits on top of my garage so a rubber roof is required underneath the deck. Previous leak issues were addressed and they no longer exist! Buzz quoted aggressively and held to his quote. I am very pleased with Northeast and would provide a solid recommendation, especially if Tom is the craftsman doing the work.
